I have worked in the public sector, occupying various positions such as Head of Department, General Resident of Works in the Ministry of Agriculture and Hydraulic Resources and, as Deputy Manager of Water Administration in the states of Baja California, Oaxaca, Veracruz and the Valley of Mexico, of the National Water Commission. Currently as Assistant Manager of the Technical Advisory and Standards in the Mexico’s valley.
I have led the Coordination in the planning, regulation and control of the exploitation and use of the waters and national goods in charge of the National Water Commission, as well as, promoting programs and measures for their efficient use for compliance with the Law of National Waters. I have participated in the revision and authorization of several projects of crossing and river protection works, prepared by various institutions, both private and public sector.
Carry out the design and supervise the construction of the Gulf IV Region Forecast Center, as well as the remodeling of the Radio Sondeo Viento station, dependent on the National Meteorological Service of the National Water Commission, in the state of Veracruz.
Also, take the coordination for the proper operation and control of the Miguel de La Madrid dam (Cerro de Oro), of the State of Oaxaca, as well as, jointly with the Federal Electricity Commission, the operation and control of the Miguel Alemán dam (Temascal), Oaxaca, among others.
Currently, I coordinate the Dam Safety Program in the OCAVM, as well as the development of the works of delimitation of the federal zone of nationally owned waterways.
